SYMPHONICITY is performing a concerto built for two, so it’s only natural that they would ask a local husband-and-wife team of piano virtuosos to play.
On Sunday in Virginia Beach, Andrey Kasparov and Oksana Lutsyshyn, also know as the Invencia Piano Duo, will be featured in Mendelssohn’s “Concerto for Two Pianos in E Major.”

Pop icons Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will probably have you singing along to “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” and “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” before the evening is over.

Taking Back Sunday and The All-American Rejects will continue to entertain fans this fall by launching a co-headlining tour in early November. It stops at The NorVa 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18.

By Frank Roberts Correspondent No Show Jones showed, but he didn't stay very long. He gave a no-encore 90-minute concert Friday at the Ferguson Center for the Arts. In all fairness, he is a 78-year-old singing idol. It is hard to imagine any of today's country-music superstars hitting the stage at that age.
