Review: Voila is France in Freemason

NORFOLK Voila, tucked away in Norfolk’s cobblestoned Freemason section, is a charming establishment. It bills itself as an international cafe, but the menu is decidedly French. The place is small but elegant. Accent lighting provides a romantic glow over its 11 small tables. The jazz music in the background almost makes it a riff on early 20th century Paris.

NORFOLK Black Friday 2008 was when the Ghent house with the elevated entrance on the corner of Colley and Olney welcomed guests to Press 626, after The Winehouse moved out – and up the street.

Owner confirms closure of The Winehouse in Norfolk's Ghent

NORFOLK The Winehouse Bar & Bistro in Ghent has closed.  The closure, marked by notices on the restaurant's doors, was confirmed this morning by owner Jennifer Smith. On Monday, the outdoor tables and chairs were stacked up inside, a thick silver chain held the door closed, and a sign in the window said the landlord had taken possession of the location.
