Kate Patterson didn't get yoga at first. The Virginia Beach native tried it about 10 years ago and thought the class was merely OK.
"I was a runner and was used to moving and pushing myself," she said, "and it didn't click."
But a later medical problem kept her from her usual exercise program, and she tried yoga again.
