Neatly handwritten in orange, red, green and purple markers on an outdoor street sign, the flavors tempted: Gingerbread, Pumpkin Nut, Pumpkin Spice White Mocha, Pumpkin Pie a la Mode, Pumpkin Pie Dirty Chai, Peanut Butter Cup, Toasted Marshmallow, Maple Spice and Maple Cinnamon Roll.These were the latte flavors at The Coffee Tree, a new coffee shop in Norfolk’s Park Place neighborhood.

The Hampton Roads Grilled Cheese Festival Sunday at the Chesapeake Conference Center sold out quickly. This upset a lot of folks who couldn’t get tickets. The festival raised money for the Autism Society and plans are being made for a bigger and better event next year. I confess, I’d be overwhelmed at making enough bites for the 600 ticket holders who attended.
