The Panthers accepted an invitation Monday to become a member of the Sun Belt Conference in 2013 in all sports, and thus play in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Duke's Elizabeth Williams was named Freshman of the Year by Full Court on Wednesday, her third national Freshman of the Year award. Williams received 209 points by Full Court correspondents to edge Connecticut's Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis' 206 points.
