Education with a personal (iPod) Touch
Tyler Butler scrolled through the lyrics of "Dakota Land," his fingertip guiding a screen not much bigger than a playing card. He searched the song for descriptive words about America's Great Plains - nouns like "desert," "hills" and "buffalo." All around Tyler, more than two-dozen seventh graders used the same electronic device - an iPod Touch - to learn about Westward Expansion.
