In Review: Dogfighting investigation at Michael Vick property

Posted to: Dogfighting

The Virginian-Pilot

A federal grand jury indicted Michael Vick - NFL star, Newport News native and former Virginia Tech player - on July 17 on a conspiracy charge that says he helped create an interstate dogfighting operation. The charges grew out of an investigation that began in late April when local authorities, searching a home that Vick owned in Surry County, uncovered more than 50 pit bulls and items associated with dogfighting.
