Traffic: High Rise backed up to George Washington

At 8:30 a.m., the Virginia Department of Transportation was reporting the following traffic issues:

High Rise Bridge

Traffic was backed up to George Washington Highway.

Coleman Bridge

A lift is scheduled for 9 a.m.

In Chesapeake, the city reports the following issues:

Gilmerton Bridge

The outside westbound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and tomorrow.
