Police were looking Monday for a man who robbed a Wachovia bank in the College Park Shopping Center.

The man entered the bank about 1:30 p.m. He implied he had a weapon and demanded money from a teller, police spokesman Adam Bernstein said. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, Bernstein said.

The robber was described to police as a black man, in his 30s or 40s, with a medium to heavy build and wearing dark clothes and gloves.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887).
