PORTSMOUTH
Three armed men robbed the Albano Cleaners in the 1500 block of Hamilton Avenue just after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Portsmouth police said.
Two men went in the cleaning business and asked a clerk to find their clothes. When the clerk told them there was no clothing under the given name, they left and came back with another man, who pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded the safe be opened, police said.
The robbers left with cash and items from the safe.
