A man is accused of abducting his estranged girlfriend by forcing her into an SUV on Little Creek Road, police said.

Martin Avalos, 21, has been charged in connection with the abduction of Martha Luz Ortega. Police are looking for him.

She and a relative were walking in the 1600 block of E. Little Creek Road about 9:45 p.m. Friday when Avalos pulled up and got out, forced her into his vehicle and sped off, police said.

Avalos may be driving a Cadillac Escalade with a Virginia plate of KLE-2240. He has family in Fort Washington, Md., and Mexico, police said.

Police asked that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
