SECURITY....BE ALERT !
As a former Navy Security Officer, I'm always very cautious of people winning the Lottery like this because the Newspapers/Press identify the winners and in this poor economy...robberies have increased and she's now a "target" for crime. Anyone winning a lottery should declined an interview and kept "hush" about ANY winnings. What she needs to do now is have her (home) phone unpublished so she's not receiving unwanted "begging" calls for money AND, DO NOT answer your door if you're not expecting anyone. ALWAYS look out your peephole and if you don't recognize them...DON'T open the door (ever!). NOT a good idea to have her published VA PILOT. Very Bad move!
Congratulations
That's super. Ten dollars is just a bit much for me to spend on a ticket. Pretty good investment for her, though. Any idea what the taxes are on that, or does she get the entire half million?
very nice!!
she'll probably get around $230k cash....not bad for $10 huh!! You can't win if you don't play!!!!!
Lottery ticket
Congratulations! Hardly ever hear of someone local winning anything in the lottery. Lucky Lady!!
Can I borrow a couple bucks
Can I borrow a couple bucks to buy a ticket? Just kidding, congratulations!
Big Bucks Yup!!
Well, at least that gives me hope that scratching tickets is worth it... "Sigh" One day... :(
Congrats to her!!
Congrats!
Such a pleasure to read HAPPY news!
Good for you!
Congrats Jodi
It's Billy from IME. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person.
Yea! Jodi
I am so glad to see a young person win. Most people who win are well into their 60's. Just help me win!
Watch it!
We 60 somethings can spend money as well or better than you whippersnappers. Whippersnapper.
