It amazes me to read all these posts from those who support the bill. It is amazing how uninformed they are. Sure there are uninsured in this country. However they make up only 10 to 15 percent of the population. Should something be done to help them find a way to have coverage? Yes, and I am sure if rational people sat down and thought about it, they could come with a rational idea which could reduce the number of uninsured. Of course I use the rational, because that is just the opposite of what is happening now. We have group of out-of-touch politicians in D.C. who have come up with an idea which will change health care for 100 percent of the population. Who cares about the 85 to 90 percent who have insurance. Of course that 85 to 90 percent are also the ones paying the taxes. So our taxes will go up, the CBO has stated our premiums will go up. So everybody will now pay more for a program which will cover everyone, even though 85 to 90 percent of us were already covered. Lets break that bill down to 10 percent of the cost and cover those who need it. Wow, that would be 100 billion or 150 billion if you to 15 percent. That sounds a lot better than 1 trillion, oh excus

I don't know what effect this will have on my vote because I haven't made up my mind on the bill. For the past several months, I have been placing this in the hands of the Lord. And I am praying that if this passes that it will be the best bill ever and if it doesn't, that it was because it was the worst.
But I do take one stand. The idea of allowing people to make up their own minds whether they want health insurance is downright weird. About forty years ago, one of my husband's uncles decided that he didn't need insurance. He had just had a health check-up and was told that he was in good shape. So he dropped it. He wws a prosperous farmer out in the country who didn't believe in paying for anything that he didn't think that he needed. For instance, he didn't have indoor plumbing because he thought it was frivolous. Anyway, a few days after his insurnace ran out, he had a heart attack and had to be taken to the hospital by the Nightingale helicopter. When he died, the insurance didn't--and couldn't--cover anything. The family had a terrible time. But they hung together and got through it.

When I completed the poll as to whether or not the passage of the healthcare bill would affect my vote in future elections, I answered yes. I will definitely send more contributions to the Democratic Party and I will support Democrats who favor the current Healthcare bill.

It has become obvious during President Bozobama's administration that the democratic party no longer exists. The democratic party has been taken over by the progressive party which hold the ideals of communism as their political philosophy.

I cannot in good conscious vote for anyone who thinks this is the direction our country should be moving toward, this is the direction of government run slavery.

Not only will I never vote for another democrat, I will not participate in this abomination of government controlled health care. I will drop my insurance rather than support paying for others who make lousy choices in their lives. All this bill will do is encourage more people to drop their coverage, the government cannot make up the difference between premiums currently being paid and the proposed fines, everyone is better off just paying the fine.

You got a president that does not listen to the people that put him in office, then he has his sheep that he leads by the nose. He has wasted more time and money on something we do not want at all and this has been his biggest goal for the past year instead of trying to get people back to work so we can make money to keep the white house open. How damn hard is it to tell the insurance company's we wont let you gouge or turn someone down for an existing condition, we the tax payers will eventually get it in the end in emergency room bills. Stop the frivolous lawsuits and abuses that they (politicians) lawyers have created in the first place. Stop the back slapping ill scratch yours you do mine. Why should a representative have to get any kind of special deal just so he will do his job. Stop our jobs from going across the water, put proper tariffs in place so foreign economy's will be brought to our level not the other way around. Crooks, is what we have in office, self serving and they only look out for themselves. An honest politician does not stay that way long, with the tutelage they get in Washington.
