I have followed this story from the first article. I agree with him 100%. I find it hard anyone would not. I never heard him say anywhere that he was going to lobby to get everyone on council to support him. Why would anyone put forth a resolution that would not have 100% support? I think the Pilot is just trying to keep draging this out. Let it go. I think based on the first Pilot survey 82% of the people supported him. Great. Now find something else to report.

As Larry King would say what's the question? What does pull his resolution mean? Does that mean the same as put forth his resolution or does it mean stop his resolution?

It's completely ridiculous that they would allow the one religious sect that attacked us to build a mosque any where near that site. You can say they are not all like that if you want but, in the end, the ones that are like that, will laugh last. It is completely unAmerican and spit in the face of all American people. DO NOT ALLOW IT!!! They go to great lengths to avoid offending people at all costs, well, I am offended now! What about the offended Americans?

I wonder if some people just quickly glanced at the poll and thought that a "No" vote meant that they opposed what the councilman did when he sent the letter on his own, instead of actually voting for his withdrawal of a resolution to the city council opposing the mosque in NYC? I certainly don't care where the mosque is built and don't see it as any kind of slap in the face to patriotic Americans. The councilman needs to mind the business of Virginia Beach, which is why he's elected to the position in the first place. I hope voters remember this brazen act of arrogance and sheer stupidity come next election.
