Another Consideration.........

is the FACT that cars/personal vehicles are soon becoming a Luxury item for a LOT of average people. There will soon come a time when you will have to decide on owning a house.......or a car.

So ANYTHING that will increase the %'age of using rail (light, heavy, fast or slow)instead of driving is a Big + imho.

Perfect example? The Daily Insanity to & from the Base's. Military backed Light Rail ?

Another choice

You're leaving out another, important choice to choose---Depends on cost.

HELLO PILOT!! I agree

At the time I voted there were 878 votes....THIS IS RIGGED!!!
They never get that many votes, even on important issues

this also happened last week in another rail related poll. Obviously someone/organization has figured out how to defeat the ISP address software

I think your 100% right!

I just took a look at past polls....seems your comment is right on the money....kind of odd that there is two pages of comments and well over 1000 votes

Money?

There's a lot of money riding on this....perceived public support might help them to secure the deal...can't hurt

i frequently travel to D.C.

I frequently travel to D.C. and once there I have no need for my vehicle. Most definately I would use the train, and people from D.C. would come this way to go to the beach in VA. Beach....not much for them to see in Norfolk.

Most poor losers cry foul.

How does this make anyone a loser?

Ok

Go ahead and cry, won't bother me :)
