I think it's easy to say these things since Virginia is not very close to Mexico and I'm sure yall don't have much Mexican culture experience either.
Now the majority of Latino's are hard working, honest, and respectable people, with tight knit families and strong values. I've had many Mexican friends, a couple girlfriends and the dudes I worked with I will remember for all my life, I even have a Mexican aunt and two half Mexican cousins, and I'm Texan. Let me tell all yall, What it looks like to me is that since it's not pc to blame black people for your problems anymore you're picking on brown people.
Crime evolves from poverty and a lot of poor blacks, whites, and brown people commit crimes, and certainly some rich white people break the law too. Since Mexico's main source of income comes from agriculture, tourism and selling drugs to Americans you can see why some would be criminals. Money.
If Mexico had more jobs and better income the illegals would all stay south of the border. Believe me they are very proud people BUT If you have a choice to stay at home and only make a 1 - 2k a year or earn 20k in the states what would you do?

We could fill up every jail in America with illegals but that won't do anything but fill up jails. We can even build a mile high wall but that won't do much other than block the view of a place we shouldn't ignore.
What America needs to do is invest in and build up our own continent to give the illegals a reason to stay home and improve homeland security.
As we Americans are more qualified for most jobs than most illegals guess who's not really taking our jerbs? Buuuuut since most jobs they do have only pay 8-10 bucks an hour they still might be taking your kids jerb. Your kid doesn't want to work anyway.

Jail space isn't FREE
Republicans always want to cut taxes and not pay for things like Jails that would be needed if they want to start locking up immigration cases. The HUGE majority of illegals are here to work, they work hard, and usually send part of their money home to help their family living in poverty. Those people would be taking up jail space so the US citizens who don't want to work, want to steal, imbezzle, sell drugs and what not won't have any space to go in the jails so the judges will give those great citizens "suspended sentences" so they have no jail time because there is no space. With limited jail space, get the criminals off the street first and worry about the immigration status people later when there is space. Step 1: Build new jails and prisons to house all the criminals (yes, taxes must pay for this republicans!) then after there is pleanty of space, Step 2 is start arresting the illegals.

Are you kidding me! Most illegals are here because they are wanted for crimes in the country they came from! That is a proven fact. They come here and yes they send American dollars out of our country ruining the value of our money. Most of this money does not go to support there family, but to the people who snuck them into the U.S., who will hold there family for ransom until they get paid off. But because they charge high interest on the money owed to them (like $10,000) it will never get paid off. THAT IS HOW THIS IS DONE. Dont believe me? check out a western union on a friday and listen to the chatter (in spanish of course). Dont let the liberal media fool you into thinking illegals just want the American dream. Most are on the run from something, and many would just as soon cut your head off than get sent back to where they came. Just look at the crime stats and you can see how bad its getting. You are joking of course. You do know that a large percentage of the illegal immigrants, and no not the legal immigrants and no, I didn't say all... but a large portion of them are criminals. Many involved in drug running, stealing cars, etc. All you have to do is look at the stats in the border states and the number of illegals that have been arrested. If you lived in El Paso or Phoenix or Brownsville, you might have a little more perspective in this huge problem. It is the truth and it is not hate. It would make sense that this element would leave Mexico to ply their trade in more "fertile" ground. The good folks of Mexico are working hard in their own country and if they are coming to our country are using legal means to gain permanent residency. Hate? Where in Sam Hill did you get that. ..........is NOT that 'we're all immigrants'. The Point is that they ARE TAKING OUR JOBS ! I'm sorry but I have been TAXED from the moment I was BORN in this Country. I EXPECT to AT LEAST be gainfully employed.
But what has happened? I was Laid Off and replaced by Cheaper Labor . I WAS a Carpenter making $23 an Hr. I was replaced @ $16 an hr. Add it up.
Now, I have worked with a LOT of Hispanics @ my last job. Many from Honduras, Guatemala...............& Mexico. Generally, they are some Great Guys.............but. They ARE taking, those of us that have lived here all our life and Taxed, our JOBS !
Also, there are some that are making BIG $$$$ OFF the Illegal Aliens. They 'join' a Temp Agency that 'specializes' in 'hispanic labor'. The Temp Agency gets $3 an hr off the top of each individuals pay. So, that guy that replaced me @ $16 an hr actually makes $13, the Temp Agency takes $3.
