A Virginia police chief is calling on federal government officials to stop giving employment authorization cards to illegal immigrants with pending deportation proceedings after the recent death of a nun.
Prince William County police chief Charlie Deane mentioned the August death of a nun who was allegedly killed by a drunken driver who is not legally in the country in the letter to Homeland Security officials released Friday.
Police say 23-year-old Carlos Martinelly Montano, who is from Bolivia, was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement after a previous arrest, but he was released pending a deportation hearing.
Deane says Montano received an employment authorization card after his second DUI offense and that Montano used the card to obtain a Virginia driver's license.

This has been happening in California for many years. It is just recently starting to happen in Virginia. I won't mention the numerous deaths caused by illegal immigrants, we all know the names. The lack of security on our borders was an impeachable offense during the Bush years, and it still is. Funny how the libs wanted to impeach Bush because of Iraq, but had no ambition to impeach him on the lack of border security. The President has openly admitted he can do nothing about this problem, so he should resign right now or be impeached. Yeah right, like that is gonna happen. There is ZERO integrity and honesty in Washington D.C. and no indication either will return anytime soon.

"The President has openly admitted he can do nothing about this problem"...this statement needs to be changed to read: "The President has openly admitted he can do nothing about this problem and still be reelected." We as a country need to become a bit less "politically correct".

Homeland Security
Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder should be arrested and charged with Dereliction of Duty and crimes against the Constitution. They are criminals, as are the heads of ICE and the Border Patrol.
There are numerous members of this administrations cadre that also should be charged.
Once the people take back his government they will be arrested and araigned and kept under lock and key as they are flight risks and they will be held accountable for their crimes.

Job Security
The police Chief is a smart man. He knows how to tell the AG, etc what they want to hear....job security.
I'm not saying it's not a good or bad idea....but it's pretty obvious with all the current politics going on and him being a chief :)
I think I'd probably like to see all the illegals go home or pay taxes and ramp up to social norms as all their predacessors have...then we'll welcome you fully.

In the age we live in today it's so easy to jump on the "band wagon" of political correctness.
Political correctness should never be confused with courtesy and common sense because it's not.
I congratulate this Chief for doing his job and asking the obvious question why this insane practice continues?
