are so sure and so passionate to decry that it is murder to have an abortion, but take so little notice and with so little thought proclaim it is only an unfortunate casualty of war to kill children or blow off their little arms and legs in errant missle strikes.

Abortion is taking away the life of an innocent baby . Can you say after looking in the face of a new born baby and say to that beautiful child you are an unwanted burden in my life and I wish you dead ? There so many couples who can not have children who would love to have your unwanted child .Give your unwanted baby to another couple who will raise this child as their own and give it the right to live it's life .

Abotion is not murder

embryos and fetuses are not Children. They are potential children. From a legal prospective this is a freedom of choice issue. The moral issue is an individual decision that the government should stay out of.

Also, since God said thou shall not kill can we assume that you are agianst the death penalty, killing in self-defense and war?

God is NOT against War and He is NOT against the Death Penalty. God is the one who put government into place. If you understood the bible you would understand that. People were put to death in the bible and there was war. Abortion is murder it stops a heartbeat even in the first trimester. Forget the bible, science proves the heart is beating by the time the mother finds out she is pregnant therefore by the time she aborts she has STOPPED a beating heart. If stopping a heart from beating isn't murder I don't know what is? I don't care what "stage/age" someone is, if the heart is beating, they are living.

Yes I can, because it's not up to me to make that life changing decision for others. If you truly believe in keeping government out of your life, you can't be for government forcing a woman to carry a child she does not want. Not to mention the burden society ends up dealing with when people are unable or unwilling to be dedicated parents.
