DO I HAVE TO SAY!
--- SIMPLY PUT they shot themselves in the foot! i can not think of one good reason to vote for the republican party in VA.COME NOVEMBER!with their stupidity in no new taxes policy ,they have caused a lot of people a large hardship which will translate into a democratic vote come November! but hay I'm only one person with only one vote! HOW ABOUT YOU.FRANK IN VA. BCH.

I think the republicans are really overreaching and it will come back to bite them!(karma!) But, the good news is with a little work we can get a Democratic majority in and repeal and replace all these unnecessary laws the right wing is currently enacting. This is what happens when you let the conservatives take power. All the guns you want, but no jobs or health care!
the gop has the right ideas...
...however they seem to approach those ideas with overbearing pampasity not unlike the Dems yet still like ugly Americans. I believe all politicians need to take classes in listening and humility.
Abortion and roads
The best way to keep women from having abortions is to keep the roads the way they are. After a while, nobody will be able to get anywhere. (sarcasm font)
the gop is digging
The GOP is digging their own hole. Come the next round of elections they will be buried.
Who is doing the digging?
The only digging I see are the Democrats. The Dems have not put forth a budget in over 1000 days, the price of gas has gone up more than 40 cents in the last month and will continue, inflation and unemployment are still double digit, (see post here on "statistics"). Now they want to mandate to a religion what they have to do. Like it or not the Dems are not giving the moderates, those who voted Republican in 2010, a reason to go back to them. January 20, 2013 will not get here fast enough!
This is a nation of LAWS, not men (or man), if you allow one person to dictate to the masses, what happens when the man elected is not someone you support. You must support the original intent of the Constitution for the Republic's survival.

You do realize we are talking about the state legislature, not the federal congress. All politics are local.
Finally work is getting done!
They are no longer acting like Harry Reid's Senate! Bills that have been collecting dust are getting enacted by brave people! BZ for the State House and Senate!

According to the Pilot all that has happened is pro-gun and anti-abortion. Have they reported on anything else?

Maybe the truth is the state legislature is half way through the session and they have not addressed anything but social issues. So much for the state economy.
