Navy SEAL from Virginia Beach is killed in Afghanistan
Chief Petty Officer Adam Lee Brown, 36, was fatally wounded during a battle with heavily armed militants, officials at Little Creek-Fort Story said. He is survived by his wife and two children here in Hampton Roads.

Low stadium flyover lands two Oceana pilots in hot water
Fans at an Atlanta football game shot video of a flyover of two F/A-18 Super Hornets just several hundred feet over the stadium rather than a minimum of 1,000. The pilots have been permanently grounded.
