Did your employer allow you to take the day after Thanksgiving as a holiday?

My husband works for NNGN and he didn't have to use any leave and had the day off.... but me on the other hand - I work in an office and we were open.

The last company I worked

The last company I worked for gave the day off without having to take leave. This year, I could have taken the day off and taken leave, but since I am in town anyway, I decided to come in and save my paid time off for a vacation. I am one of 4 people here in an office of 55. I haven't received a business phone call or email all day. This has been one of the more unproductive days of my life, but I'm glad I didn't waste the vacation time.

Do 41% of people really get today off without using any leave? I don't think I've ever worked for a company that did that.

YES!! Gov workers Military! Companies no, as such I am working too!! I am almost done and I didnt lose my mind!! On most days I am busy but today I wasnt and it was terrible!!
