I'm still on my tank of gas I paid $3.39 per gallon for last Friday. So the higher prices didn't effect me. Now with the price of gasoline on the commodity markets going sharply down for the third straight day, I expect the prices to come crashing down before I need to fill up again. I hope.

For the life of me I can not understand the great differences in gas prices I have been reading about. Here in Accomack Cty. it has been fluctuating betwen $3.43 and 3.49 for a couple of weeks. Why is it so much higher for you all in Hampton Roads? When my husband used to work in VA Beach it was the opposite, he paid less there than here at home.

The major oil companies have always supported Republicans and have been handsomely rewarded for their support. Where does this flow of big time dollars come from? Just watch those digits on the gas pump moving so fast you can't see 'em!
Yea, it was pretty clever too. It all started when they were watching Superman III and decided that was a great idea. They used the super secret weather satellite to conjure up a hurricane and ram it into a major refining area just to make you may a couple extra dollars to drive your car. Brilliant!

I read with absolute amusement the opinion of Linda Kepley that somehow Jim Gilmore is more experienced than Mark Warner in regard to foreign policy. All I have to say is, "It's about the economy stupid"! Has anyone forgot what shape Jim Gilmore left the Commonwealth of Virginia in when Mark Warner was sworn in? We were in a record budget shortfall because of his election ploy of "No Car Tax". Wasn't long till everyone realized where all of that tax money was destined to be used for and we have suffered for it ever since. Look at the condition of our bridges, roads, tunnels and other infrastructure. Mark Warner took a fiscally wrecked economy left courtesy the Gilmore administration and turned it around in four short years. The Commonwealth was even recognized as one of the best run states in the United States with a significant budget surplus at the time. Mark Warner's economic record along should assure a landslide victory over a career politician on his last leg. Even the Republican Party realizes Gilmore's election to the U.S. Senate a long shot. Warner is the only choice.

Colbert Report
If you watch Comedy Central (John Stewart, Colbert Report) to get your political news, what year of high school are you in?
Its gotta be at least the tenth grade, right....

Record Profits
There seems to be something WRONG when the Major Oil Companies are raking in record profits in this alledged 'gas shortage'.
The Colbert Report has a humorous view of the mentality of the decision making process of predicting 'oil futures'............
.............wish i could remember it.............
lets not forget
Dick Cheney told the oil companies to write our energy policy. Shameful!
The major oil companies have

My name is not Money Warbucks!
Unfortunately, I do not have money to burn. So any spike in the gas prices is a spike in our household.
Thank you for your support
