Sarah Palin
She can't control her own family, how would she make a good President?
Public Scrutiny
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
If Sarah Palin can't handle the public pressure of being Governor of Alaska and a former VP candidate, there's absolutely no way she'd ever be able to handle running the whole country.
Sarah Palin
I would love to see her run and win but it will never happen. This country is going to pot with the Demoncrats. We are on the verge of being socialist. Why work when they are giving money away and getting us further in debt while they continue to get fat raises at our expense. Politicians, nothing but liers and theives.
republicans must be desperate
To think they would want the freaky, scary, drama queen Palin as President is beyond belief.
Tina Fey will have SNL material for years to come. That, I can hardly wait for.
Give me a break, dude...
The exalted State of Minnesota just seated Al Franken into the Senate--talk about comedy material--this guy IS a comedian!! He's a two-legged doofus waiting for a punch line, and you think PALIN is comedy material?? How could it get any funnier than 'Senator Franken', another Hollywonk know-it-all liberal?? Listen--do you hear it--??? It's the theme music for 'Send In The Clowns'!!! LOL!
Didn't know Al Franken
Didn't know Al Franken wanted to run for President.
neither did I
There is a big difference in Al getting seated and Palin as President. I don't think Republicans know the difference.
Sorry, pal--there IS no difference!
I don't buy into your logic that it's OK for the U.S. to have a naive, untested, politically illiterate buffoon spun off from Saturday Nite Live to serve in the U.S. Senate, but a woman who DOES have some prior political experience--but who has been demonized by the MEDIA as a piece of lightweight fluff--is somehow LESS qualified, LESS able to serve competently in a higher political office. Look--don't throw Obama around as proof of competency; he can't even SPEAK a complete, articulate sentence without his teleprompter! I'll say it again--what rubs the Democrats the wrong way is that they sense--they KNOW--that if Palin is able to rouse and light a fire under conservative Middle America, the Democrats are doomed. Far too many people are ALREADY sensing the Democrat plan for America is suspect, and even some Democrats themselves are beginning to question the logic of the Obama Administration. It certainly doesn't help that Obama himself is a person of highly questionable integrity and background. He'll be lucky to finish one term.
Palin has a bachelor's
Palin has a bachelor's degree in communications-journalism.....after attending 3 different community colleges. Heavyweight indeed.
Al Franken went to Harvard.
So?
So Franken went to Harvard, and Palin accomplished her degree thru another avenue? So what? I submit: given the already-known political positions of guys like Franken and Obama (and, I believe (but may be incorrect) Sotomayor (Harvard also, I believe?), it would seem that the gist of YOUR political persuasion is that the liberal Left has a 'lock' on what is now best for America; is that right? So-by definition-you believe that a conservative approach, characterized by less government authority, influence and intrusion, is a BETTER approach than what the original Founding Fathers who drafted the Constitution envisioned as a limited role for the federal government? Look, I hear what you are saying; what I'M saying is that there IS a broad, conservative swath of America that is not being heard, and which does NOT want the fed to grow any larger or more intrusive than it already is. And BTW, I think most conservatives will also concede that there were broad errors in Bush's approach. Just cuz he was a Repub doesn't mean we worshipped him, either.
