Sarah Palin
She can't control her own family, how would she make a good President?
Public Scrutiny
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
If Sarah Palin can't handle the public pressure of being Governor of Alaska and a former VP candidate, there's absolutely no way she'd ever be able to handle running the whole country.
Sarah Palin
I would love to see her run and win but it will never happen. This country is going to pot with the Demoncrats. We are on the verge of being socialist. Why work when they are giving money away and getting us further in debt while they continue to get fat raises at our expense. Politicians, nothing but liers and theives.
republicans must be desperate
To think they would want the freaky, scary, drama queen Palin as President is beyond belief.
Tina Fey will have SNL material for years to come. That, I can hardly wait for.
Give me a break, dude...
The exalted State of Minnesota just seated Al Franken into the Senate--talk about comedy material--this guy IS a comedian!! He's a two-legged doofus waiting for a punch line, and you think PALIN is comedy material?? How could it get any funnier than 'Senator Franken', another Hollywonk know-it-all liberal?? Listen--do you hear it--??? It's the theme music for 'Send In The Clowns'!!! LOL!
Didn't know Al Franken
Didn't know Al Franken wanted to run for President.
neither did I
There is a big difference in Al getting seated and Palin as President. I don't think Republicans know the difference.
Sorry, pal--there IS no difference!
I don't buy into your logic that it's OK for the U.S. to have a naive, untested, politically illiterate buffoon spun off from Saturday Nite Live to serve in the U.S. Senate, but a woman who DOES have some prior political experience--but who has been demonized by the MEDIA as a piece of lightweight fluff--is somehow LESS qualified, LESS able to serve competently in a higher political office. Look--don't throw Obama around as proof of competency; he can't even SPEAK a complete, articulate sentence without his teleprompter! I'll say it again--what rubs the Democrats the wrong way is that they sense--they KNOW--that if Palin is able to rouse and light a fire under conservative Middle America, the Democrats are doomed. Far too many people are ALREADY sensing the Democrat plan for America is suspect, and even some Democrats themselves are beginning to question the logic of the Obama Administration. It certainly doesn't help that Obama himself is a person of highly questionable integrity and background. He'll be lucky to finish one term.
Palin has a bachelor's
Palin has a bachelor's degree in communications-journalism.....after attending 3 different community colleges. Heavyweight indeed.
Al Franken went to Harvard.
So?
So Franken went to Harvard, and Palin accomplished her degree thru another avenue? So what? I submit: given the already-known political positions of guys like Franken and Obama (and, I believe (but may be incorrect) Sotomayor (Harvard also, I believe?), it would seem that the gist of YOUR political persuasion is that the liberal Left has a 'lock' on what is now best for America; is that right? So-by definition-you believe that a conservative approach, characterized by less government authority, influence and intrusion, is a BETTER approach than what the original Founding Fathers who drafted the Constitution envisioned as a limited role for the federal government? Look, I hear what you are saying; what I'M saying is that there IS a broad, conservative swath of America that is not being heard, and which does NOT want the fed to grow any larger or more intrusive than it already is. And BTW, I think most conservatives will also concede that there were broad errors in Bush's approach. Just cuz he was a Repub doesn't mean we worshipped him, either.
It is less government that
It is less government that got us into this financial mess, they failed to oversee what was going on with our financial institutions. As far as Obama and the teleprompter, all presidents and many speakers use teleprompters. So what is your point, that he can't adlib? Do you have any idea what Obama's credentials are? How he ranked in his class? So you think it would be better for the banks and the auto companies to just fail without the Government even trying? That would have generated an instant Depression. So lets say none of what the government did will help, then I say we are doomed anyway, so what is there to loose? The US is becoming socialist? As if the US hasn't given money to foreign countries for decades. Maybe the Republicans could look at the US as a foreign country, and consider it foreign aid.
Palin for President...
I think Sara will benefit the party more by speaking up nationwide in a series of possible whistle stop tours..just speaking up for traditional American values..It's premature to say she should be the candidate of choice. We need to see more of her and she does need more experience that possibly a tour of the lower 50 could give her that she won't get in Alaska.
Plus, Odrama's admin. is giving her plenty to work with.
Her passion for her country is refreshing, considering we have a president who finds fault with this country and her people. At least in most preidential addresses he gives in foreign countries leaves me with this impression.
The Dems are AFRAID of Palin!
'beachmommy' & 'truthjustice' got it right; the liberal Left is actually afraid of what Palin might do! If she manages to garner a broad base of conservative support thruout middle America, she'll sweep the polls, and the Dems know they can't fight that! The conservative voice of plain-spoken, simple values--which is MOST of America anyway--has been trounced and silenced by the oh-so-smart, arrogant, elitist Left--in other words, the Democrats. They have little to offer America and they know it. Their values, their goals, and their all-inclusive, multiculturalist agenda disgusts most of conservative America. It's time for a return to middle-class American values (and that means ALL of America--regardless of race, color, or creed). Palin represents a huge threat to their Socialist agenda, and they know it. They'll pillory her in the press--I can hear Keith Olbermann slobbering and spitting invective right now!
This is disgusting how this woman has been treated
This is disgusting how the media elite has created hatred and venomously attacks Sarah Palin not on her credentials but on her family and looks. All you haters have bought into this like you did with Bush and drink in this liars koolaid. I find it ignorant that the media claims the Governor of the largest state somehow lacks "experience" compared to the " community activist president" we have now. Shame on you for buying into this manufactured hatred and continuing it. The media attacks her because they fear what she represents which is entirely against the liberal dogma and sleazy standards they want to support. Look for a recharged CONSERVATIVE movement( God, family, country, and core values) in 2010 and 2012 that is void of political party affiliation as this political party circus is on its last legs. This recharged conservative movement will not be Republican or Democrat based as these parties have turned into charlatan parades and more of the same.
Support candidates based upon the quality works they produce not media slander and unsubstantiated claims.
Happy 4th!
Palin has been attacked
Palin has been attacked endlessly on her credentials when she was running for VP. Where were you?
Hah
this is ridiculous. We have the 24 hour circus of Fox and AM radio continuously criticizing anything President Obama does. Why should Palin or any other politician be treated differently? Because you like them? If you can't take don't dish it.
To a point, I agree...
Conservative news media and talk radio DO make their points by attacking the liberal Left agenda, and rightfully so. But, I agree with your point--the Republicans aren't exactly offering all the right answers either, are they? Thus, if THEY don't like being criticized for THEIR positions, then maybe THEY should stop and re-evaluate their OWN positions and agendas! The Democrats do have solid men and women of insight and integrity in their ranks--neither party has a 'lock' on the complete picture. I suspect that's why there is a growing cadre of voters in this country who now define themselves as independents, rather than by either of the other two mainstream parties. People are waking up and starting to become more aware that their own viewpoints and beliefs are not being legitimately represented in politics anymore.
Run Sarah
The fact that liberals, democrats and media slam her only shows how afraid they really are of her. I hope she runs and takes Barry Obummer out of office as fast as she can.
yes, yes, yes
This country and the world needs a good laugh, so please let it be Palin as the GOP nominee in 2012.
Want a good laugh?
Take a good look at the current administration.
Of course, the way he is running this country toward socialism, you may want to cry.
