I know
I know what it is like to go through life day to day with a brain injury. Luckily mine is not as severe as many other people. It still ended my career and completely changed my life. Luckily, my wife is a very understanding and supportive woman. She has tolerated the complete change in my personality and demeanor. I would like to take that day back and not have been hit by that drunk at work but I can't. It would be nice if the City of Virginia Beach would actually stand up and support the people who risked their lives for them but it will never happen. Ever....
Brain Injury Equity
NOTE: Insurance companies are not sympathetic towards non-government mandated exceptions, (like benefit of the doubt for the living) be they just or not. So, unless government regulators (The State Corporation Commission) step in and mandate the exception (as it is their job to do), injured parties and families will quite simply become government sanctioned victims.
