All this state does is tax; tax and more tax but never do we have anything to show for it.

I wonder what they will tax next. I know that money is tight everywhere for the government, but I wonder what's next. Advertising on cop cars.

Stop increasing taxes on EVERYTHING!

Why ask if it's already done?, and second, why is porn allowed in locations made available to the public by the government?

Taxing something simply because it isn't already taxed is lazy legislating. How about some planning? I'm not anti-tax, just anti-stupid.

Might as well pass this do-nothing tax. The legilative time has already been wasted. Would hate for Lucas to be sitting in Richmond for no reason at all. Oh too late.

Tax everything that isn't already taxed, then raise taxes on everything that currently is. If it impacts tourists, tax it some more. Once tourists stop coming, reduce those taxes then raise taxes on locals. Raise any tax that hasn't been increased in the last five years. Then every couple of years (election season) sponsor partisan legislation to knock a few pennies off of some do-nothing tax and claim responsibility to help get your party elected. Once elected, continue to randomly tax, untax, spend, and make decisions that make us wonder what in the world you are smoking in whatever house/chamber/back room you happen to meet in. The randomness of today's political decsisions is dumbfounding. Haven't you people ever heard of a plan?

On the tax: I'm sure that half a mil will bring George Lucas and Ron Howard running to VA for their next blockbuster. Use the force, Louise.
