I haven't rented a video or DVD in 2 years, I get all mine FREE at the local public library. Free and you can check them out for 7 days and renewing is a possibility on some older titles. I have saved a lot of money using library materials

House of Video. Anyone still renting from Blockbuster is nuts. You can rent a whole entire season at House of Video for the price of one disc of the season at Blockbuster. I havent been to Blockbuster in over a year, and probably will never return.

I get four movies in my home at a time and unlimited movies for the month; the faster i see them and send them back, the more I get. And then there are the free streaming movies that don't count against my rentals. Netflix is great.
Another fantastic feature is their system of recommendations, introducing me to movies I may not ever have heard of otherwise.
