Which candidate do you support in the race for Portsmouth’s sheriff?

Most of my comments thus far have not been posted by the "pilot police" as they have been called so far in these comments. At any rate, the truth is coming out, slowly but surely. Doug Funkhouser has been nothing but honest and upfront with the people of this city about his intentions for the office of the sheriff. I think that speaks volumes about his charater. VOTE FUNKHOUSER FOR SHERIFF ON JUNE 9TH. EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

last election we had to choose between Waters and Watson----most folks voted for "anybody but Waters"---this will be interesting

WORTH LOOKING INTO

The time for change in the City of Portsmouth will be on June 9, 2009. The city deserves more than what it's getting at the moment. Bill Watson publicly claims (in front of many witnesses) at a recemt civic leage meeting that he is not participating in any "smear tactics" because if he did "he would not be worthy to wear the badge" but turns right around and calls Funkhouser campaign supporters "little mud slingers" and personally attacks a woman in the audience at the same civic league meeting. All of this in an effort to "change the subject". Additionally, ask yourself why "Funkhouser for Sheriff" signs continue to dissapear at an alarming rate across the city. Furthermore, who hasn't been in financial trouble at one point or another. That makes many of us human and not bad people. Those who can not grasp that concept better watch out for what may happen to them--no matter how careful or smart you think you are. At least Doug was honest. VOTE DOUG FUNKHOUSER FOR SHERIFF JUNE 9, 2009 AND HELP YOUR CITY.
