Perfect for Parties

We have used dry ice for several of our childrens' birthday parties that were not at home. It is the perfect way to take ice cream to a party anywhere and keep it frozen. We did the VA Aquarium, the zoo, a farm, a horse riding establisment, a water park and a camping trip. Sometimes we take individual cups like they serve at school but I have also done the following.
Take a 9x13 cake taker (or any large container that has a sealable top)and then line it with cupcake holders. Then take an ice cream scoop and put one or two scoops in each cupcake holder. Put the lid on the cantainer and stash it in the freezer. Day of the party put the container in you cooler with dry ice and head off to the party. At cake time take the container out of the cooler, grab a cup cake holder and emty it on the plate with the birthday cake.

Dry icce works great for taken ice cream, freeze pops or frozen drinks to the beach too!!
