She was walking outside, past the front lobby.
Around the middle of the show, the soldiers, I'm Soldier #3, we strip down to our undies, do a big dance, and walk offstage...
into the lobby of the theatre. Anyone going to the bathroom at that moment would get more of a show then, than what just happened onstage. The 4 soldiers changing clothes, fast as hell, in our undies, in the lobby...
there are glass doors in the lobby, and anybody who chooses to look in could see the offstage show we are putting on right there in the lobby, sweating and hustling to get ready for the next scene...
tonight I was looking out the glass doors and saw a woman walk past who glimpsed into the lobby... and kept walking.
Her story, for one second crossed paths with mine. It was amazing. She saw me, but didn't. Whatever was going on in her life, was propelling her forward just like my need to get changed, quickly, inside, for the next scene, of the play going on in that building she just GLANCED at.
