Experience – over 52 years in Industry and Business. Leadership – years of holding civic offices, working various advisory committees in Chesapeake.

What should be the city's top priority now, and how can it be achieved?

Real estate assessments – reexamine budget for cuts without lowering safety or quality of life.; loss of key employees – achieved with competitive pay scale with surrounding cities.

What do you think will be the city's most pressing issue in 10 years, and how can the city prepare for it?

Roads and bridges – planning now

How do you respond to complaints that city leaders put developers’ interests ahead of residents’ needs?

If elected, I will not put developer’s interest ahead of residents.

I speak for civic organizations on many issues. Win some and lose some!

Should the city and state raise more money to pay for transportation projects? If yes, how?

Priorities should be determined in Chesapeake before planning to raise money. Private and public enterprise should be considered.
