Two new judges are scheduled to be sworn in today to fill posts in Chesapeake Circuit Court.
Chesapeake defense attorney John Brown is set to be sworn in at the courthouse at 1 p.m. Norfolk Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Marjorie Arrington is to be sworn in at 4 p.m., according to court officials.
Brown and Arrington were appointed last month by the General Assembly. They will fill the posts of S. Bernard Goodwyn and Frederick H. Creekmore. Goodwyn was appointed to the Virginia Supreme Court, and Creekmore retired.
