Even if a State’s majority vote is for, say…candidate A. But the electoral votes go to…candidate B., then why do we vote?

Same for this year-long pre-President contest for Democrats and Republicans. The majority of a State votes for candidate B. But, the delegate and super-delegate votes go to candidate A. Again, why do we vote?

I think that the whole election process needs to be revamped. I think that our INDIVIDUAL votes should count. Not electoral and super-delegate votes.
