Any middle or high school age student, but geared toward Hickory Middle and Hickory High school students

The camp runs from Monday-Friday from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. After a swim test and information session on the first night, the camp will meet at the Atlantic Yacht Basin boat house in Great Bridge. If, after the camp, your student decides to join Hickory Rowing Club, the camp fees will be applied directly towards their dues.

Description

The camp will familiarize students with rowing equipment, terminology and safety. The camp will provide coaching on rowing technique on land trainers, dockside trainers and rowing boats.
