Student pass rates on the Standards of Learning exams determine school accreditation. Schools must meet a minimum student pass rate in the core subjects of English, math, science and history in order to become fully accredited.
This database shows the number of discipline, crime and violence incidents reported by local school divisions in the 2006-07 school year.
The data is self-reported by local school officials to state officials; school division superintendents are required to verify the accuracy of those reports.
