Uh-oh. Looks like a couple of prominent hurricane predictors are getting out of the cyclone crystal ball business. The Ottawa Citizen is reporting that William Gray and Phil Klotzbach are calling it quits after a couple of decades of scaring the bejabbers out of coastal dwellers.

Thunderstorms, hail expected in South Hampton Roads tonight

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather warning for South Hampton Roads in expectation of thunderstorms this evening.

There will likely be scattered showers and thunderstorms that may produce gusty winds and small hail, according to the weather advisory. The storms may affect central and eastern Virginia and portions of northeast North Carolina.
