AVONDALE, AZ Jeff Burton is showing signs that the struggles for his team this season are ending. Burton finished second Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway. It's his third consecutive top-10 finish and the fifth race in a row he's placed in the top 15. He's not had a better streak all season.

On hobbled leg, NSU's Brown throws for career high

DOVER, Del. | For a quarterback playing basically on one leg, Norfolk State's Dennis Brown had quite an afternoon Saturday. Brown threw for a career-high 274 yards despite sustaining a right leg injury early in NSU's 21-16 win over Delaware State. All but 60 of those yards came in the fourth quarter, when Brown led the Spartans back from a 16-point deficit.
