Frank Beamer felt a good crowd coming for Virginia Tech's spring  game. He kept telling the mass of recruits the Hokies had on hand to  prepare for a great atmosphere in Lane Stadium.
&amp;quot;The weather didn't go with us,&amp;quot; Beamer said, shortly after it was canceled because of rain and lightning.
