Weather: Partly sunny skies with highs near 80

Subtropical storm Beryl has formed off the coast of the Carolinas, but for us, the big weather influence will be an onshore flow and corresponding low risk of an isolated afternoon shower or storm.
Overnight we should see lows in the mid to upper 60s. Highs should reach about 80 degrees with partly sunny skies.
Patchy fog will be possible at night.

Weather | Another tropical storm on the coast?

The odds are increasing that another tropical storm will form over the weekend off of Florida and head northeast up the coast. However, it will likely stop well before it gets to us and head back south, though a few of its showers might affect us. The odds will be highest for the Outer Banks but we will have to examine the forecast the next couple of days after we see how the storm forms.
